Brian Hammann

Brian Hammann joined Benjamin West in May 2001 after spending two years as director of franchise sales and development for Wingate Inns in both the western and midwestern regions. Mr. Hammann brings with him 16 years of management and sales experience in the hospitality industry, including eight years with Bass Hotels and Resorts. As general manager at one of the first three Holiday Inn Express hotels, Mr. Hammann helped launch this then-new hotel concept. He also worked for Holiday Inn Worldwide as a field-based consultant, providing management resources for hotel owners, senior hotel executives, and hotel managers.

As operations manager for a private developer, Mr. Hammann worked on site selection, financing, and review of all design and purchasing decisions. His operations experience also includes food and beverage and guest services management. Mr. Hammann spoke at the 2003 Hospitality Design Conference in Las Vegas. Mr. Hammann has a bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management, with a minor in business, from the University of Wisconsin.
