Project Director

Garland Stiles joined the Benjamin West team as a project manager in February of 2001. Mr. Stiles brings with him 18 years of hotel operations experience. His career in the hospitality industry began in college at the Northern Hills Holiday Inn in Spearfish, South Dakota. His most recent position was Director of Catering at the Embassy Suites Downtown Denver, Colorado. Garland holds a BS degree in Hotel/Motel Management from Black Hills State University in Spearfish, and recently completed his MBA at the University of Phoenix. Mr. Stiles was promoted to project director in August 2002. He continues to be enthusiastic about the industry using his operations background to give an added insight to FF&E project management.

His most recent projects include the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco, CA, the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead, Atlanta, GA, the 1675-room Marriott Marquis Atlanta, and the Palomar Hotel Waterview in Arlington, VA. He is currently working on the Historic Renovation of the Hilton Palmer House in Chicago, IL and the 1100-room Hilton in Washington DC.
