Melissa Janssen

Project Manager

Melissa Janssen joined the Benjamin West team as a Project Coordinator in October 2005. In November of 2006, she was promoted to Project Manager. She began her career working in high-end custom residential furniture sales and design. Upon moving to the Denver metropolitan area, she pursued a career in hospitality as a Catering Sales Manager at the Radisson Graystone Castle. She applies her background in operations to bring perspective to FF&E project management.

Since joining Benjamin West, she has worked mainly with the Marriott and Hilton brands. Currently she is utilizing her ability to analyze projects in their full scope along Benjamin West’s key vendor relationships for bidding and sourcing in the Barcelo Crestline Qualifications Phase. She is creating a standardized pricing for the client’s 48 limited service guestroom renovations and public area reinventions throughout 2009.

Ms. Janssen received her Bachelors of Science degree in Merchandising, with a Minor in Marketing, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1999.
