Christine Low
FF&E Specialist, London
Christine Low is one of London’s most experienced FF&E interior design specialists. She has worked for many of Europe’s leading practices, including EAA, Neumayer & Associates and RPW and has either led or contributed to some of the most famous hotel projects worldwide over the past 20 years. These include the Jumeirah Palm Island Hotel and Resort, Dubai; the BuhlerHohe Spa Hotel, Baden Baden, Germany; the Corinthia InterContinental in Tripoli, Libya and the Georgian House Hotel, Dublin.
Christine studied Interior and Three Dimensional Design for four years at Medway College of Design followed by an additional year at Maidstone College of Art working in Photography and Graphics.
As Head of FF&E in each of her roles over the past 12 years, Christine has a wealth of experience liaising with other team representatives; such as project directors, architects, project managers, designers, technical teams and technicians to establish design/project criteria, leading a successful progression to each project’s completion. This includes representing FF&E interests at staff, project, client and site meetings where appropriate and taking responsibility for the design (when custom), manufacture and installation of approved FF&E items with appropriate liaison and relevant support documentation.
“In my experience, I have observed the most efficient way to progress a successful interpretation, implementation and completion of a project. Starting with the receipt of the Interior Designer’s specification book, through samples, model room, manufacture and official site handover, the accurate transfer and receipt of information in written or recorded form by a professional FF&E representative is paramount.
My commitment, through many years, to the importance and well-being of the FF&E role within a hotel development project is paramount to me.”
