Bill Cheung

Managing Director – Hong Kong

Bill Cheung is the Managing Director for Benjamin West Hong Kong, overseeing all project activities within China and Asia.

Mr. Cheung is a native of Hong Kong and comes from a family with a long history of trading in China. Prior to joining Benjamin West, Mr. Cheung established and headed the Asian Operations for Weber-Stephen Products Co. in Hong Kong, responsible for all the outsourcing activities of barbeque grills, accessories and parts to US, Europe and other markets. Before joining Weber, Mr. Cheung was a Principal Consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, collaborating with Fortune 100 companies to develop business strategies and improve their operational efficiencies. Mr. Cheung’s experience in the hospitality industry dates back to the late 1980’s, when he co-founded Textile Resources, Inc. with Mr. Alan Benjamin, to import hospitality linens to serve US hospitality clients’ needs. From 1995 to 2001, Mr. Cheung also conducted executive seminars at California Institute of Technology (Caltech) on Doing Business in China, helping multinational companies to establish, enhance or expand their business operations within Greater China.

Mr. Cheung was educated in the United Kingdom, received his BS in Pharmacy and his MBA in Finance from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
