Melissa Janssen

Melissa Janssen rejoined the Benjamin West team in August 2025 as the Director of Business Development.  She brings with her 20+ years of experience in the hospitality industry.  Most recently she spent the past 13 years working for Royal Thai, a global manufacture of woven Axminster carpet and hand-tufted rugs.  During her time there, she held various roles from Regional Sales to National Sales Director.   She has a deep understanding of the custom design and manufacturing process as well as brand standards, operations and management.  During her previous tenure at Benjamin West she was focused on project management and procurement specializing in Classic Select brand portfolios.  She is looking forward to reengaging with hotel owners, project managers and designers.

Melissa attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources and Family Sciences with a minor in Marketing.
